This project involved the design and construction of 13 high-quality social housing units on a brownfield site along Shore Road, Belfast. Commissioned by Apex Housing Association, the development contributes to the ongoing regeneration of the area, providing much-needed, affordable homes within a well-connected urban setting.
The scheme comprises a mix of two- and three-bedroom homes, designed to meet Lifetime Homes Standards and achieve high energy efficiency ratings. The homes incorporate modern construction techniques, durable materials, and sustainable design principles, ensuring long-term affordability and environmental performance.
Landscaped communal areas, off-street parking, and secure boundary treatments have been included to enhance resident safety and community integration. The project was delivered in line with Apex’s commitment to building inclusive, resilient neighbourhoods and supporting housing demand in North Belfast.
